I am receiving audio only, no video.
Windows Media Player 7.
Any ideas why I can not see it?

Sex - the great distractor. Whether it's a security guard monitoring video
cams, police cruising the skies, or all the rest of staring at a CRT all
day - sex seems to be the common distractor. And that's a good thing!

I had to go to my kids iMac with OS X and download Media Player 9 to
view it.

WMP 9 does not work with Mac OS 8.6.
WMP 7.1 is as high as I can go.

Where was it taken? In a foreign hostile territory, or some domestic
training mission? I'm guessing the later, since I hope to hell you can't
distract the full attention of a couple of helicopters in a combat zone
that easily.

And people say all this talk of black helicopters spying on us is bull.

I'm going to guess Iraq. The conversation from the helicopter
includes a message to a controller describing the situation, sort of.
He says they've "got some movement, but that it's not considered
necessary to do anything about it." Then the word get goes out to
other helicopters in the area and they come in and check it out.

Now that you mention it, it was VERY effective as a distraction,
wasn't it.

They could have been working for an insurgent setting up a trap with RPGs
for the helos. Very bad to get that focused on one thing in a combat
zone.

Doesn't take a military helicopter to do it... seems like I've seen similar
IR images from police copters. I acutally thought this was domestic screw
up.

I personally think the flight crew should be suspended or fired.
They spent way to long over the non-event.
On the other hand the OH-58 is not exactly quiet. She must have heard
the helo, must be an exhibitionist.

It was a 7 minute video. I think it should be logged as a very successful
surveillance training mission.

It was at the JRTF, at Ft Polk. That's about as domestic and
non-Iraq-like as it gets.

Am I the only one who read the URL?
